Which parts of the UK planning system does PlanProve understand?
The parts that set a consultant’s timetable and shape a site: the authority and its statutory clock, the decision and its conditions, and the designations on the land.

Does it cover Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland?
Partly, and it is worth being precise. Casework and deadline tracking work for a site anywhere, and Welsh planning authorities are included, but the automatic constraint checks use datasets for England, so they will not show the designations that apply to a site elsewhere.

- Wales: sites, stages, deadlines, documents and conditions, with the statutory period set to match; no automatic constraint checks.
- Scotland and Northern Ireland: you can track sites and dates, but the stages and defaults follow the England and Wales model, and there are no constraint checks.
Where is my data stored?
Platform data is stored with Supabase in the European Union, in Ireland, which the UK recognises as giving personal data adequate protection.
The AI features are provided by Anthropic in the USA, under the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Every provider that handles your data is listed, with its location, in the Privacy Notice.
Who is behind PlanProve?
PlanProve is a trading name of Make My Plan Ltd, a UK company based in Bristol, and was built by a planning consultant who has worked in both the public and private sector.
That background is why the product starts from the statutory clock and the conditions rather than from a sales pipeline. The fuller story is on the About page.
Common questions
Does PlanProve invoice in pounds sterling?
Yes. Fee proposals and invoices are in pounds sterling, can carry your VAT number, and are paid online through your own connected Stripe account.
Where does the constraint data come from?
From the government’s planning data platform, planning.data.gov.uk, and from Natural England, both published under the Open Government Licence.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. You can export your account data from Settings at any time, and request deletion of your account there too.
